1️⃣ Learn how to rig the mouth
🚩 Quest 1: Add points to the mouth art meshes
🚩 Quest 2: Rig the Mouth Form and Mouth Open
🚩 Quest 3: Rig the inner mouth parts
Before we rig, we’ll add Path Deform Points to help with smoother Deformations.

You can reference the example file to see the ideal point layout!
These extra points give you more flexibility for shaping lips during expression and movement.
We'll focus on deforming just Top_Lip and Bot_Lip here.
(Other parts will follow thanks to glue!)
Start by rigging the Mouth Form parameter first:
Mouth Form - Value: 1
Mouth Form - Value: 0
Mouth Form - Value: -1
Once those are complete, add key points to the Mouth Open parameter.
Make sure you’re deforming naturally — exaggerate more at the corners and use your extra mesh points to maintain smooth curves.
Feel free to reference your mouth chart or shape guide here!
The inner mouth parts (teeth, tongue, etc.) are rigged the exact same way as your main lip meshes.
Just match the inner mouth parts to the same Mouth Form and Mouth Open shapes.
The movement should sync up — so as the lips smile or frown, the inner mouth shifts to match.
