🚩 Quest 1: Create Eyebrow Y movement
🚩 Quest 2: Create Eyebrow Y, Angle/Form movement
🚩 Quest 3: Link the Eyebrow movement to the Eye movement
We’ll use the following Deformers and Parameters:
🔁 Don’t worry about the Right Eye — we’ll copy these deformers later.
Let’s get started with keying the Eyebrow Open/Close deformer:
This is the eye nearly closed. Drop the eyebrow slightly to follow the shape.
Fully open eye — bring the eyebrow up slightly to reflect energy or surprise.
Smiling expression — curve the eyebrow upward for a cheerful look.
Now go ahead and fill in the rest of the 8 parameter positions so the eyebrow blends naturally with the eye.
All movements here will be applied to the "Eyebrow_Left" ArtMesh.
Once you’ve keyed those values, select both BrowL Angle and BrowL Form, then go to:
Palette Menu > Synthesize Corners…
This will auto-generate the corner positions, which you can clean up manually.
Now you’ve completed Y movement, angle, and shape control for the brow!
To make sure your eyelashes and brows move as a single unit, we’ll apply the brow parameters to the eyelash deformers.
Now, the eyelash motion will mirror the eyebrow emotion, giving your eyes much more expression!
